Gibraltar Technologies launched an Electronic Medical Records consulting division - Expert EMR. They use their expertise to help Doctors and their Practice's navigate the EMR world and find the solution that best fit their needs.

Expert EMR needed an identity for both their physical and online presence. Syync developed a tongue-in-cheek periodic table approach that garnered the attention they needed in both venues. Executed via a website design, tradeshow banners and printed collateral materials, and a supporting micro-site, we gave Expert EMR the foot off the ground they needed for a successful launch.

Gibraltar IT

Gibraltar IT, LLC, a leading IT firm based on the East Coast, USA, needed an online identity. They were growing too fast to keep up with the demands of an ever changing web presence.

We identified their main thrusts in the IT world and designed a site around Gibraltar IT that encompassed them as a company.

All of our corporate projects start with a robust, versatile, easy to manage back end -- enter ExpressionEngine. The Gibraltar IT site has new demands placed on it every day, and ExpressionEngine heeds the call every time.

M&S Technologies

M&S Technologies, a software leader in the computerized vision testing in the eye-care industry, needed a site that reflected their stature and could grow with them as they execute their roadmap. We developed a site where they would have control over their content and images while providing them with the power needed for their client login using ExpressionEngine. M&S now has the ability to deploy software certification testing and updates directly from their site.

We continue to work with M&S Technologies on many fronts to help them succeed while keeping their online property current and meeting every challenge in store.

Mut8

Truly simple site editing … REALLY! Not everyone wants complicated, confusing content management for their site. The simpler way? mūt8.

We built mūt8 to serve an internal need for our clients that had no content management in place. A way for them to access and edit their content that was truly simple.

We liked it so much, we added version control, branding, and quite a bit more to the Pro version. Freelance designers and developers, and agencies can seamlessly give their clients access to a CMS branded as their own — with version storage.

PPC Lubricants, a leading supplier in the lubricant industry with over 40 years in building a solid reputation in both quality and service, were in need of a facelift for their online presence.

We worked closely with PPC Lubricants to determine direction, interactivity, design and ease of use. In just over 30 days we delivered a clean user experience that was easy to navigate and easier for the client to update.

Our strong relationship with PPC Lubricants continues as we help them add to their online properties (PPC DEF Solutions) and find new online solutions to help them conduct their business.

SitePlex

Siteplex came on the heals of mūt8. With such a powerful and simple solution for content editing we developed a template system to help prospective clients at a lower pricepoint. Not everyone needs, or can afford, the development involved in implementing a total CMS solution.

Siteplex gives prospective clients the opportunity to select from a growing series of templates, plug into mūt8, and gives their online endeavors a simple, stylish site with the means to control and update when they see fit.

What Is Meaningful Use

Part of the Expert EMR concept development was a companion site, whatismeaningfuluse.com (WIMU). The site is an ongoing effort to keep EMR professionals up to date with the Meaningful Use implications of the ongoing Electronic Medical Records deployments.

The site features an interactive timeline based on MIT's SIMILE Project, a super-flexible javascript timeline that alows us to update WIMU quickly and easily. The goal of the site was a single page with the most information we could possible pack into it while keeping it easy to understande and navigate.

We think we nailed it!

Fuel Application

The Board of Directors of City Trusts (BoDCT) in Philadelphia came to us with a need for a better way to manage money that has been willed to the city for providing the less fortunate with heating fuel.

Our solution was a system that stores and manages benefactor applications, willed fund balances and transactions throughout the heating season accessible to both the BoDCT and their oil providers (for reporting delivered amounts of heating oil). Due to the nature of the physical applications, close consideration was paid to managing the applications themselves and methods available for submission. All providing an accessible, digital audit trail from applicant to fund to oil provider.

The project as a whole has saved the BoDCT resources is staffing, time, and expenditures.

With the importance of search engines, rank, and the impact of social media, we wanted to create a tool that would allow the developing community (or you) to test their websites and see where they could improve their SEO.

So we took our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) knowledge and developed an algorithm to grade based on what we consider best practices. Viola, MyFreeSEOReport.com! While we do not hinder MyFeeSEOReport.com's operation, it's a free tool for everyone so we don't interfere, however we do re-visit and update the algorithm from time-to-time.

Users enter their url and a list of 3 to 5 keywords important to their business. MyFreeSEOReport.com then scans the website and determines how well the website supports these desired keywords.

Page URLs, Overall Keyword Density, Paragraph Keyword Density, W3C Validation, Image Alt Text, and Anchor Text Keyword Density as well as W3C HTML/CSS validation are all scanned, graded, and served back to the user. We also provide a perma-link to HELP YOUR SEO :)

Iritzi

A client came to us with a daunting task; build an application to manage and run their Institutional Review Board (IRB) while cutting out reams of paper distributed to IRB members prior to every meeting. They wanted a way to keep the massive amounts of information, documentation and decision letters centralized and digital while automating as much as possible.

The end result was Iritzi, an an online solution that provides structure, order and security to the IRB process. Iritizi manages: Study and IRB members, studies from submission to IRB decision, submission forms (create and edit forms as needed), and real-time IRB meetings. (agendas, quorum and meeting minutes!) Iritzi has all the tools an IRB body would want to keep them moving forward.

Visoptics

Visoptics, a division of Gibraltar IT, was formed to promote and market the changing face of Visual Acuity and Visual Field testing. Long outdated, but still in use, the familiar eye chart does not test for real-world vision situations. Enter the Central Vision Analyser and the Omnifield - 2 FDA approved devices developed by Stephen Sinclair, MD, that will revolutionize Visual Acuity and Field testing.

Along with showcasing Visoptics in glorius HTML5 ;) we built a fully responsive site that spans and changes from traditional desktop thru tablet and phone devices. Fixed navigation while scrolling allows the stationary and mobile user to move around effortlessly while the overall design reflects what you've come to expect from Syync.
